BOOKING FEE / PAYMENTS

To secure your date, a non-refundable booking fee of £150 is required. Your booking fee will be deducted from the overall balance of the invoice. The booking fee helps with the ongoing costs of running the business and should be seen as a commitment to you and your wedding date.

Booking fees are non refundable under any circumstances.

Bride trials are £125 and whilst included in all packages, this fee is due at the time of the trial and will then be deducted from the final balance. The final balance is then due 4 weeks before your wedding.

TRIALS

Trials are held at my house in Colchester - CO4, on Monday - Thursdays.

Packages include a trial for the Bride, however trials are also available for Bridal party members if required,

I recommend trials occur within 3 months of your wedding date and I will be in contact to arrange a suitable date with you.

Cancellation or rescheduling of trials requires a minimum of 48 hours notice.

WEDDING DAY

Please confirm your numbers carefully at the time of your booking, as I do not offer any reductions in any packages. Should you wish to increase your booking size, you will move to the next package option.

The pricing quoted at the time of the booking will be honoured and any general price changes between the time of booking and your wedding date will not affect your agreed fee for the services booked.

ADDITIONAL COSTS/QUOTING

Any additional expenses, such as travel, parking, toll etc will be discussed at the time of booking and then added to the final balance.

Travel expenses will be discussed at the time of your enquiry and and are charged at £0.50p per mile. If accommodation charges are applicable, this will be discussed and arranged accordingly.

There is a £50 charge should an assistant stylist be reequired.

An early start charge fee will be charged for starts before 6am.

CANCELLATIONS

In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your booking, please inform me as soon as possible. All cancellations will incur the following cancellation fees:

Should you cancel your wedding booking after the £150 booking fee has been received, this is non-refundable.

If your booking is cancelled within 90 days of the date, you are liable to pay the full amount due to the likelihood of other work not being undertaken as a result of the booking.

In the unlikely event I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and where no other suitable alternative can be arranged, a full refund of the booking fee will be returned to you. No further compensation will be offered however I will do all I can to assist any other arrangements.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of myself, I will endeavour to rectify such situations, however, no compensation will be offered. It is advisable for the client to take out wedding or event insurance to cover against these situations.

COVID19

If your wedding is unfortunately postponed under government restrictions and it legally cannot go ahead, please see below:

Your booking fee paid at the time of your booking can be moved to a new date subject to availability.

If I am unavailable on your new chosen date, your booking fee remains non-refundable, but I will do all I can to assist in sourcing an alternative stylist for you.

Where weddings can legally occur but with limitations and you choose to move your date to an alternative date that I am unavailable, the deposit is non-refundable. If you move to a new date that I am unavailable, then the date can be transferred at no extra cost.

If you postpone within the same year, your original prices will be honoured. Any longer then this and price increases may be applicable.
